Why Whattapuddle?
Lol, there is a story there and I would be happy to explain in person!
When are you open?
We are a seasonal facility and are open April 1st through October 31st
Why do you close down at sunset?
Our township requires us to shut down at sunset and there is no wiggle room in the rule. At sunset, the music must be turned off and the bar shut down. You will have up to 1 hour to say your final goodbyes or capture some sunset pictures for the bride and groom.
When can we visit again to discuss table layout etc. ?
Complimentary event planning session scheduled 4 weeks before your event in order to finalize all of your details and deliveries!
How many people can you accommodate?
200 people including wedding party
Are tables and chairs provided?
Yes! We provide up to (24) 5' round tables, (6) 8' banquet tables, (5) 30" round bistro height tables, (1) 4' round table, 200 antique stained x back wood chairs.
* Linens for tables are not provided
What are my bartender options?
We require a professional and insured bartender to serve all alcohol consumed on the premises. You may bring in your own alcohol to serve however once on the property it must be served by the bartender. We have a no shot policy and we strongly encourage your guests to have designated drivers.
What are my catering options?
Use of Licensed Caterer is required. Food brought to farm must be ready to serve and kept at serving temperature by caterer. You may use chafing dishes with gel fuel to keep food warm. Use of food trucks are permitted. Caterers and food trucks will be required to show proof of license.
Can we use real flame candles?
We have a strict no open flame policy. The use of battery-operated candles is encouraged
Do you have handicap accessibility?
Yes! We have handicap parking and paved areas from parking to pavilion. We also have restrooms that accomodate as well.
Can we have rehearsal dinner at the farm?
We do not offer this service at this time. We would like to stay focused on your wedding day and prepare all areas for your special day!
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking throughout the entire facility except for the designated area outside pavilion. All cigar and cigarettes are to be extinguished in provided containers. We do not allow marijuana use at the farm. Use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
Can we throw confetti?
No synthetic materials may be used as confetti; IE: paper, glitter, silk flower petals… You may use natural materials to shower the bride and groom; IE: lavender buds, rose petals, birdseed, bubbles etc…
Is there a sound regulation?
We reserve the right to regulate the sound level of music if it is infringing on our neighbor's homes. We kindly ask to not play music with explicit language.
Can we attach decorations to the barn or pavilion?
No decorations may be attached to interior or exterior surfaces without approval from the owner.
Can we fish the pond?
You may offer pond side fishing as part of your entertainment (catch and release). We do not provide poles/ supplies and you assume all risks.
Is there air conditioning or heat?
We are not an air conditioned or heated facility, with the exception of the Lily Pad, Tackle Box and restrooms. We do have propane patio heaters to help take the chill off in the colder months.
Before Event
When is our rehearsal scheduled?
We usually schedule your rehearsal for the Friday before your event, but this can be changed if needed. You have 1 hour to go through the ceremony several times and go over any other details at this time
When can we decorate?
Tables and chairs will be set up for you by the Friday before your event. You may drop off any supplies you will need for your event at this time. We recommend that linens and decor are not placed on tables until the day of event.
When can we arrive on day of wedding?
Sunrise! Seriously, just let us know when you would like to get there and we will be there to open up for you.
After Event
Do we need to remove our trash?
We provide trash cans and liners throughout the facility and we will dispose of garbage after your rental
Do we have to clean up that night?
You certainly can clean up that night if you would like. If you choose not to, then clean up must take place 9-11 am on Sunday. No food or plates may be left out overnight.
Can we do a sparkler send-off?
Yes! This can be a great way to wrap up the day and grab some send off pictures. We reserve our courtyard area for this activity and will have a bucket of water for your guest to exstinguish their sparkler in.
Can we leave our cars overnight?
Yes, the cars must be picked up on Sunday morning between 9-11 am. Please leave your name and contact # with us when you have decided to leave car.
